Is this the first recording of this track? maybe. Mark from All Aboard Film has started a lovely series called At Home and he filmed myself and Niall play O Sister. Check it out, then have a look at his other films.

The new EP is released. it’s already been played on bbc radio one and radio ulster…listen here.. download via link on bandcamp:
I’m With You is the title of our next release.. not quite a single, not quite an EP perhaps, but three new songs, two of which were previewed at our last show at The Dover Castle pub last Sunday to a lovely audience. I’m excited about these but as it is the first release without Chris and Niall, it feels strange and I’m interested to find out how they are received.
The three songs are: Admittance, Cooling & Annie (a homage to no-one)
I still have to arrange artwork, it will most probably be a free digital download only via our bandcamp and release date is still being pondered. Keep an close eye here.. and if you aren’t already.. get on the mailing list as that’s where it’ll be launched.
Nathan loves our feet, so at our last full band show he filmed my feet perform his favourite new track of ours, Light Fades. Here it is..

Last night we had the pleasure of supporting Nancy Elizabeth (The Leaf Label) at The Latest Music Bar in Brighton. It was a lovely show and very quiet, intimate place. Myself and Niall decided to try out some new material, a song called home, which seemed to go ok.
Nancy Elizabeth was great, performing songs on piano and guitar with a beautiful voice, soft but powerful. We went for a quick drink and chat after the show and had a lovely time hanging out. Hopefully we might see her again at some point, but in the meantime check out her music.
(thanks OIB!)
here are two posters for upcoming shows.. first with the awesome Before Machines and second, the OIB gig with Nancy Elizabeth >> click click >>
[i don't know why but there's always this space after an image gallery... time to reflect perhaps?...]

thanks to everyone who came down, (even from London) to see us. i know all you can see is wee emilio in the corner happily watching but the gallery was rammed and was a great atmosphere. we had alot of fun at it. a friend nathan filmed our feet strangely for alot of this show and posted ‘moment of recognition’ online on YOUTUBE.
we also played O Sister for the first time, written the same time as its sibling O Brother which has been played for the past year at shows. It seemed to go down well and we may put it out on our next release soon. Meantime thanks to Jessica Lee Morgan, Chris and Simon for organising the show and asking us to play. We all hit an open mic night the next night to carry on the fun and should hopefully be playing more gigs together in the future.
Last weekend we were played on Tom Robinson’s show on 6music. you can check out the show broadcast on 12th December at http://www.myspace.com/6musicintroducing . the track is roughly around 1hr 18m in, you can also find a link to the latest podcast which contains the same track and is FREE to download.

The download will contain both sides of the booklet artwork combined into one lovely epic landscape piece. Don’t wait… to get your copy click straight to our bandcamp site:
For all of you who came to our shows over the last two weeks, thank you so so much for your support and I hope you had as much fun as we had. If you bought an early copy of the album at the shows I hope you are enjoying it and spread this email to your friends to go to the site and check it out!
We have Will Scobie to thank for the artwork. He is a very talented Brighton illustrator who you can find more of at reveriecreate.co.uk. Check him out. I’ll also quickly mention Ripe Digital who did a great job of printing the artwork out for us!
I also will not forget all the beautifully talented musicians who performed on our album, mainly speaking of Albrecht’s Pencil, a band with whom we have performed a few special shows with over the last year or so. Amazingly talented people and we are so pleased they are part of this. Other musicians include our previous band member Michael Kinloch who came back with his trusty trombone on The Moon & Sixpence. He is now playing with Not Squares who are about to release their debut album too. Another old member is Thérèse McKenna who, although sadly left the band to persue her journalist career in Dublin, managed to come back for her beautiful vocal and flute action on Dead Ends and The Moon & Sixpence. Joel Cathcart, Laura McGrogan and Fionn Byrne make up Albrecht’s Pencil and it has been only a pleasure having you on our album (The Let Go, Just This Once, Dead Ends). Two more… Grace McMacken from the ‘ole Cutaways sings on Moment of Recognition and Amy Millar who took our photos on the snow also plays musical saw on Save For Me. Thanks so much to you all !
So direct yourself and your mates to heliopause.bandcamp.com and get yourself a lovely copy of the album and enjoy it!!!
Stay in touch!
