I’m With You is the title of our next release.. not quite a single, not quite an EP perhaps, but three new songs, two of which were previewed at our last show at The Dover Castle pub last Sunday to a lovely audience. I’m excited about these but as it is the first release without Chris and Niall, it feels strange and I’m interested to find out how they are received.
The three songs are: Admittance, Cooling & Annie (a homage to no-one)
I still have to arrange artwork, it will most probably be a free digital download only via our bandcamp and release date is still being pondered. Keep an close eye here.. and if you aren’t already.. get on the mailing list as that’s where it’ll be launched.
Illness released their album for free download online. but you know, it you like it and love vinyl, then show them your appreciation by buying a copy when it’s released later this month or next.

here’s the lovely review written for us by Brighton’s Source magazine.
“ALBUM: HELIOPAUSE •Walk Into The Sea(myspace.com/wecomefrombelfast)
As their MySpace URL suggests, these are not born and bred Brightonians. But recent relocation and involvement with the Numbskull HQ umbrella (which has quickly become a byword for unsigned excellence) makes Heliopause something we need to tell you about. These are simply beautiful songs, soft and evocative, seeping into the consciousness and demanding repeated listening. We guess everyone maybe needs a reliable word of recommendation to check out something new – let this be ours to you. (NC)”
‘a truly great album’ – BBC Across The Line
‘Heliopause’s debut proves a triumph. 8/10′ – AU Magazine
‘they deserve to be celebrated’ – Irish News
these are just a few of the lovely words being said about our debut album Walk into the Sea.

We’re excited to say we have just added another Belfast show on the 24th September, this time an acoustic show at the lovely Common Grounds. It will be great to perform there as it’s been awhile and will give everyone a chance to see the memorable acoustic sets we do after the album launch night on Wednesday.
